Stevi B's Franchise Pizza Restaurant sold by We Sell Restaurants

PRLog (Press Release) - May 15, 2012 -
The Stevi B's franchise pizza restaurant in Gainesville Georgia, part of a brand with a focus on family and community has a new owner. The local restaurant changed hands recently with the assistance of restaurant broker Eric Gagnon of We Sell Restaurants which is found online at http://www.wesellrestaurants.com

The restaurant sold very quickly and generated strong interest according to We Sell Restaurants President Eric Gagnon. ?"Not only did the Stevi B's sell very quickly (under contract in a matter of weeks) but we were also able to get the deal funded with an SBA lender." ?According to Gagnon, there are more deals in the pipeline with bank lending, "We have several deals on the table right now with SBA lending and we're definitely seeing a loosening of the previously very tight credit market when it comes to restaurant funding especially for franchise re-sales."

Franchise re-sales are often easier to fund than start up or independent concepts says Gagnon for a number of reasons. ?First is the availability of books and records since all sales are documented. ?Secondly the standardization and established business practices are in place. ?Lastly, franchises are often listed on a franchise registry, providing lenders with additional risk underwriting documentation. ?That allows SBA lenders to quickly and consistently make loan decisions for franchise borrowers.

The new owner, Michael Foy is an existing Stevi B's franchisee who is expanding his footprint to become a multi-unit operator as he takes over the Gainesville, Georgia store. ?Gainesville Georgis is the business hub for Northeast Georgia and lends itself well to the franchise pizza restaurant concept with a high percentage of families as well as a good lunch business since the City of Gainesville estimates a daytime population in excess of 100,000.

Stevi B's is a buffet concept that is fast becoming a leader in the family-dining segment with a unique variety of specialty pizzas served up in a fun and family friendly atmosphere. ?Part of the family appeal of this franchise pizza restaurant is the separate video game room for entertainment.

Stevi B's is located at 1500 Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville, Georgia and is open from 11-9 weekdays and 11-10 on the weekends.

Everything You Need to Know About the Higgs Boson in Under Eight Minutes [Video]

The Higgs Boson is kind of a big deal. If it does exist, it could provide a key to unifying the standard and quantum models of physics. But what is a Higgs Boson, what does it do, and how does it work? With the help of this animated short, UCI physics professor Daniel Whiteson breaks down the basics of this mysterious particle (or is it a field?) in a way even your parents can understand. Sharp posts $1.4 billion extraordinary loss, refocuses on mobile displays

Sharp posts $1.4 billion extraordinary loss for 2011 - 2012, sees writing on wall in high definitionSharp has reported an extraordinary loss of 117.1 billion yen ($1.4 billion) for the financial year ending March 2012. The company has cited restructuring costs and inventory losses as the causes for the write-down, but also projected that its TV business would lose a further 18.7 percent of its projected sales in the current year. The company has decided to convert some of its big-screen LCD production lines into mobile LCDs as it tries to reassert its dwindling display business. It's yet more bad news after the company sold part of its LCD manufacturing business to Hon Hai, Sony withdrew from a joint venture and refused to deal with Sharp in the future, plus an 86 percent collapse in profits.

A MicroReview Of The Fantastic $9.99 MicroStylus

microstylus-3This just might be the best stylus ever made. I'm completely serious. The problem with most styli is that there is never one around when needed. Besides that, the pen form factor is often not conducive for use on a small screen. But the MicroStylus, well, it's so tiny yet functional that it's perfect for the task. Plus it's only $9.99 and stores neatly in a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Frog Sits on Bench Like a Person, Reflects on Life

A video of a frog sitting on a bench as a human would has become all the rage online. It sort of speaks for itself. Is he waiting for a bus? Taking a lunch break? Contemplating his place in the universe? It's all very much unclear.

According to reports, the clip was shot serendipitously and wasn't staged. Moments after the video ended, the un-coerced critter jumped off the bench and hopped away into the water, where it hopefully found whatever it sought in life.

RIM's first BlackBerry 10 device may come as early as October

RIM's first BlackBerry 10 device may come as early as October

It's no secret that there's currently a sense of urgency in Waterloo, but if a recent report from N4BB is accurate, it seems that both consumers and enterprise are bound to benefit. According to the site's confidential source, Research in Motion is preparing to reveal its first BlackBerry 10 device in mid-August and will have the product in the hands of consumers by October. We'd previously known that RIM intends to have these units in the hands of developers next month, which gives a bit of credence to this most recent revelation. As for what consumers may expect, the first device is said to offer just a touchscreen, whereas we'll need to wait until Q1 of next year to see a handset with a physical QWERTY keyboard. As you'll recall, the company's previous leader, Mike Lazaridis, previously stated that consumers wouldn't see a BlackBerry 10 device until the end of the year, but this was due entirely to a shortage of the chipset that RIM deemed crucial to its manufacture. Perhaps Mr. Heins was able to light a bit of a fire under the company's partners, no?

NFL Draft
The NFL has finally realized the reality TV potential of its big night, and moved the process of making several young players millionaires to prime time. While Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III are cemented as the top two picks ,there's plenty of drama left for the rest of the first round and those that follow. Whether you're watching to see what your favorite team does or where a player you watched in college goes, it's just the start of the offseason festivities for football fans. We've preferred the NFL Network's coverage to ESPN's in recent years, we'll see who wins the day in 2012.

NBA Playoffs
This weekend the NBA Playoffs get underway and ABC has the opening games. We'll have to wait a little longer to know who will be playing who in each matchup, but until then, you can see the Bobcats try to avoid breaking a record for futility Thursday night on TNT.

NHL Playoffs
One word: Unpredictable. Most of the top teams are already out after round one, but that's just life in the NHL Playoffs. The chase for the Stanley Cup continues this week, but your guess is as good as ours when it comes to who has the edge. Many games are still TBD on the schedule, so keep your eyes peeled to find out when and where they'll be playing.
